General Consulates of Greece in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novorossisk have taken all necessary measures to ensure issuance of visas the soonest possible.
In practice The Consulate may process the application in 2 working days, however the logistic time of returning the passport may depend on the location where you apply.

Visa Procedure at the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Novorossiysk
Please note that applicant can submit documents for Schengen visa C either at Greece Visa Centers or directly apply at Consular authorities.
This site is under the supervision of the Consulates General of Greece in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk; and provides information on procedures applicable to Russian residents who wish to apply for a short stay tourist visa (less than 90 days) to travel to Greece.
Applicants can submit their application forms together with the supporting documents at the Greek Visa Service Center. All such visa applications will be forwarded for assessment to the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow if submitted at the Greek Visa Service Center in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Kazan, Nyzhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Kaliningrad, Omsk, Perm, Saratov, Smolensk, Vologda, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Ufa, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok; to the Consulate General of Greece in St. Petersburg if submitted at the Greek Visa Service Center in St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Velikiy Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Pskov or Murmansk; and to the Consulate General of Greece in Novorossiysk if submitted at the Greek Visa Service Center in Novorossiysk, Rostov-on-don and Krasnodar
